Overview

• The venture builds on an October 2023 agreement for Naver to develop digital twin platforms in Riyadh and four other Saudi cities.
• Naver Cloud and NHC’s subsidiary, NHC Innovation, have pooled resources to launch the jointly invested Naver Innovation entity.
• Naver Innovation is now operational under Naver Arabia and will steer digital twin development alongside other smart city projects, including public transit mapping.
• The digital twin platform will provide virtual city models to aid urban planning tasks such as flood forecasting, traffic flow analysis and population distribution mapping.
