- The Parliament of Navarra’s investigative panel ratified its witness list on August 5 with a 41-person plan to probe the ‘caso Cerdán’.
- Provisional detainee and former PSOE organization secretary Santos Cerdán will be required to testify alongside alleged associate Antxón Alonso Egurrola.
- Current President María Chivite, former President Uxue Barkos and ex-minister José Luis Ábalos are exempt from appearing before the commission.
- The commission will summon Migration Minister Elma Saiz, former adviser Koldo García and businessman Víctor de Aldama for testimony.
- Document requests will be gathered from the National Court, Supreme Court and other bodies in September ahead of hearings scheduled to begin on October 14.
