Overview
- Roughly 1.8 million customers have already migrated to NatWest, including credit cards on October 3 and loans on October 31.
- Remaining savings customers are now scheduled to move, with some outlets citing November 30 for the final switch and NatWest guidance pointing to completion by the end of 2025.
- Customers will lose access to Sainsbury’s Bank online banking and the mobile app after migration and will need to register for NatWest’s digital services.
- Direct Debits will transfer automatically under the Direct Debit Guarantee, and statements will list NatWest Bank Plc instead of Sainsbury’s Bank Plc.
- Customers are advised to download savings statements now, and existing Sainsbury’s Bank credit cards can be used until NatWest-branded replacements are issued.
