Naturgy to Cut Rio Gas and Vehicle-Gas Tariffs by Up to 12.5% From February 1

Naturgy cites lower Petrobras supply costs as the driver of the cuts.

  • The reductions apply to residential, commercial, industrial and vehicle natural gas customers statewide.
  • In the metropolitan area, the average decreases are 4.44% for residential, 4.61% for commercial, 12.5% for GNV stations and 11.63% for industrial users.
  • In the interior, the cuts are 4.45% for residential, 5.21% for commercial, 9.84% for GNV stations and 10.19% for industrial users.
  • Naturgy says about 1 million customers will benefit, while bottled LPG is not included in the measure.
