- Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed officially opened the 35,000-square-metre museum after a VIP preview attended by stars including Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan.
- Located in Saadiyat Cultural District and designed by Mecanoo, it is the largest natural history museum in the Middle East.
