Nationwide Strike Disrupts Travel Across Italy on November 28

  • Rail staff at FS Group companies, Trenord and Italo are on strike from 21:00 on November 27 to 21:00 on November 28, causing cancellations and delays.
  • Regional trains operate only in guarantee windows, 06:00–09:00 and 18:00–21:00, with operators advising travelers to consult updated lists of guaranteed services.
  • ENAC confirms departures in the 07:00–10:00 and 18:00–21:00 windows are protected, and Ita Airways has canceled 26 domestic flights.
  • In Rome, ATAC service is limited to guarantee periods from start of service to 08:29 and from 17:00 to 19:59, with other hours at risk of disruption.
  • Milan’s ATM network runs normally today, with a separate four-hour Confial strike scheduled for Sunday, November 30, and a four-hour airport-handling strike set for Catania on December 1.
