Overview
- The £175 offer applies to switches into FlexDirect, FlexAccount or FlexPlus via the Current Account Switch Service with at least two active Direct Debits moved and the full switch completed within 28 days.
- Within 31 days of opening or applying to switch, customers must pay in £1,000 and make one debit card purchase, with the £1,000 allowed in instalments but not from existing Nationwide funds.
- Nationwide says the £175 will be credited within 10 days once conditions are met, the account must be open at payment, only one reward is paid on a joint account, and most prior online switch reward claimants since 2021 are excluded.
- During the seven‑day CASS process, customers should use their old account for the first six days as Direct Debits and standing orders are collected, with the transfer and old account closure completed on day seven.
- Separately, Nationwide’s £50 ‘thank you’ for eligible members following the Virgin Money purchase included cheques that must be paid in by January 1, 2026, with customers urged to contact the society by that date if they believe they were missed.
