Nationwide Recall Targets 110,000 Paris Hilton Beauty Fridges Over Fire Risk

Regulators cite an electrical-switch defect that can short-circuit and ignite.

Overview

  • The CPSC announced the recall on Sept. 11 covering 4-liter and 10-liter units manufactured before August 2024.
  • Affected models include PH11887 and PH11887-1 for 10-liter units, and PZB02-E001, PH12540, PZP01-E001, and PZW01-E001 for 4-liter units in pink, white, aqua, and hot pink.
  • Epoca International and the CPSC have recorded 27 overheating or fire incidents that caused property damage with no reported injuries.
  • Consumers are told to unplug the unit, register online for a refund, submit photos of a door marked “RECALL,” the model/serial label, and the cut cord, then discard the fridge per local rules.
  • The fridges were sold nationwide from November 2022 through July 2025 at Walmart, Ross, Amazon and other online retailers, typically priced about $30 for 4-liter and $60 for 10-liter models.
