Nationwide Recall Issued for Scott & Jon’s Shrimp Scampi With Linguine Over Listeria Risk

The action stems from a supplier recall of the linguine ingredient from Nate's Fine Foods.

Overview

  • FDA said Demers Food Group voluntarily recalled select 9.6-ounce meals on Oct. 2 following the supplier alert.
  • Affected product was shipped nationwide Sept. 15–25 to wholesale distributors and operators.
  • Consumers should look for lot codes S254522, S255522, S259522, S263521 and S263522 with best-if-used-by dates Mar. 12–21, 2027, UPC 858175003919 and GTIN 10858175003916.
  • Do not eat the product; return or discard it and sanitize any surfaces it contacted because Listeria can survive refrigeration and spread.
  • The recall applies only to this Scott & Jon’s item; for questions, contact Demers Food Group at 1-800-239-9731 (Mon–Fri, 8 a.m.–4 p.m. ET).
