  • The recall applies to 200-gram green plastic packages with UPC 6975730520101, distributed by Hofood99 Inc. of Oakland Gardens, New York.
  • The contamination was identified through FDA and New York state lab testing of samples collected from a Buffalo retailer.
  • Recalled mushrooms were sold nationwide between January 11 and January 31, 2025; no illnesses have been reported as of April 22.
  • Consumers are urged to destroy or return the recalled products to retailers for a refund and contact Harvest NYC for further inquiries.
