10 people have been hospitalized due to an E. coli outbreak potentially linked to Raw Farm's raw cheddar cheese, including one case of kidney failure.
Raw Farm has recalled certain lots of its original and jalapeño flavored cheddar cheese, with products sold at Sprouts Farmers Market and Bristol Farms.
The FDA and CDC are investigating the outbreak, which has reported illnesses from October 18, 2023, to January 29, 2024.
Listeria outbreak also ongoing, with Rizo-López Foods recalling dozens of dairy products sold nationwide under various brand names.
Symptoms of E. coli include severe stomach cramps, diarrhea, and vomiting, while listeriosis can lead to fever, muscle aches, and more serious conditions.
