- Artists and organisations can submit proposals from October 13 to November 17 for works using wood from the felled landmark.
- Roughly half of the salvaged timber has been set aside for the commissioned artworks.
- Up to five proposals will be shortlisted with development funding before a winner is chosen in early 2026.
- The largest trunk section is already on public display at The Sill visitor centre in Northumberland National Park.
- The initiative follows the conviction and jailing of Daniel Graham and Adam Carruthers for the 2023 chainsaw felling and damage to Hadrian’s Wall.
