National Lok Adalat Settles 2.42 Crore Cases In One Day As Preliminary Tally Tops ₹7,817 Crore

  • Settlement values exceeded ₹7,817.62 crore nationwide, and final figures are expected to rise as remaining state reports are compiled.
  • Pune reported 1.45 lakh cases resolved with ₹665.44 crore settled, and Punjab recorded 4.50 lakh disposals statewide.
  • Other notable results included Thane’s 55,981 cases worth ₹205 crore, Mohali’s 21,192 disposals with ₹201 crore, and Malappuram’s 3,000‑plus cases, spanning matters such as bank recoveries, motor accidents, and cheque dishonour.
