Over 82,000 individuals affected as personal and financial information stolen in cyberattack.

National Amusements, the controlling shareholder of Paramount Global and CBS, confirmed a data breach that affected over 82,000 people.
The breach, which occurred between December 13-15, 2022, was discovered in August 2023.
Hackers stole personal and financial information, including banking account numbers, credit card numbers, security codes, passwords, and PIN numbers.
The company has begun notifying those affected and is offering free credit monitoring services to those impacted.
Reports suggest that Shari Redstone, chair and CEO of National Amusements, is considering selling a controlling stake in the company amid these security concerns.
