Armbruster described the day as 'perfect' and expressed joy at achieving this result in front of her family.
In the men's competition, Norway's Jens Luuras Oftebro won, followed by Austria's Johannes Lamparter and Finland's Ilkka Herola.
Olympic champion Vinzenz Geiger finished fifth, while Norway's Jarl Magnus Riiber, despite leading after the ski jump, dropped to sixth during the cross-country race.
