Barrymore, who had her first topless scene at 18, supported Portman's stance, joking about the difference in times when she did it and there was no 'online'.
Portman also shared an anecdote about a wild night out in Paris with Barrymore, where Barrymore cut off a man's tie with scissors.
Portman's latest film, May December, in which she plays the central protagonist, was released on Netflix on December 1.
