Natalia Grace, adopted from Ukraine in 2010, was falsely accused by her first adoptive family, the Barnetts, of being an adult posing as a child, a claim later disproven by DNA evidence.
The Barnetts faced neglect charges for abandoning Natalia in 2013; Michael Barnett was acquitted in 2022, and charges against Kristine Barnett were dismissed in 2023.
