  • NASCAR star Kevin Harvick has concluded his full-time racing career, capping off with a 7th place finish at Phoenix. He has accumulated 120 wins and one Cup series title over his 22-year career.
  • Harvick's last win came at Richmond in 2022, and he has been celebrated for his contributions to the sport throughout his final season. He will retire to Bakersfield, California after his final race.
  • From February 2024 onwards, Harvick will transition into a new role as part of the Fox Sports broadcast team. This part of his future career, along with his activities in his management company and golf cart stores, were planned out before his retirement.
  • In his final race, Harvick proved his competitive streak by leading 23 laps of the race. Despite the emotional send-off, he looks back on his career with fondness and thanks the sport for the opportunities it gave him and his family.
  • His departure signals significant changes for Stewart-Haas Racing. The team is also experiencing the departure of racer Aric Almirola, who plans to scale back his commitment after 12 full-time seasons and three wins in the Cup Series. Josh Berry will take over Harvick's seat in 2024.
