NASCAR Returns Fall Cup to Charlotte Oval

  • Organizers finalized the Oct. 9–11 tripleheader schedule with Cup practice Saturday at 1 p.m. ET, Cup qualifying at 2:05 p.m. ET, and the Bank of America 400 set to start at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday, Oct. 11 on USA Network and HBO Max.
  • Friday night features the Craftsman Truck Series Ecosave 200 at 5 p.m. ET followed by a public Kyle Busch Celebration of Life at 8 p.m. ET on the frontstretch with guest speakers and a display of Busch’s cars.
  • The Bank of America 400 will run 267 laps (about 400.5 miles) on Charlotte’s 1.5-mile oval, marking the first Fall Chase Cup race on that layout since 2017 and altering setup and pit strategy compared with the recent Roval era.
