NASA's Advanced Solar Sail Successfully Launched by Rocket Lab

Rocket Lab's Electron rocket successfully launched NASA's Advanced Composite Solar Sail System (ACS3) into orbit, alongside South Korea's NEONSAT-1 satellite.
The ACS3, deployed at an altitude more than twice that of the ISS, will test sunlight propulsion, potentially eliminating the need for heavy traditional fuels.
The solar sail, made of lightweight composite materials, will undergo extensive testing to validate its maneuverability and efficiency in space.
South Korea's NEONSAT-1, also launched in the mission, will enhance Earth observation capabilities and safety monitoring.
