- Members of the public can register their names to fly digitally with Artemis II by Jan. 21, 2026 and receive a personalized boarding pass in English or Spanish.
- Submitted names will be saved to an SD card that will be installed aboard the Orion spacecraft for the lunar flyby mission.
- Artemis II is planned as an approximately 10-day crewed flight around the Moon launching no later than April 2026 to validate deep-space systems.
- The four-person crew is Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen, who is set to become the first Canadian on a mission around the Moon.
- NASA and CSA invited media to view the fully assembled SLS and Orion at Kennedy Space Center in mid-October, with accreditation due Sept. 22 for international media and Sept. 29 for U.S. media as stacking and integrated testing proceed.
