NASA Delays Axiom-4 ISS Launch After Zvezda Module Repairs

  • NASA stood down the June 22 launch of Axiom-4 to allow additional checks of the ISS’s Zvezda service module following recent repair work.
  • Commanded by Peggy Whitson, the four-member crew includes ISRO astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla along with ESA representatives from Poland and Hungary.
  • The astronauts have been in quarantine at Kennedy Space Center and will remain mission-ready until the station is cleared to receive them.
