Overview

  • SonyLIV will stream Narivetta from July 11 in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi and Telugu after acquiring its post-theatrical rights.
  • The platform unveiled the digital release on X with the caption “Echoes of truth, shadows of injustice! Watch Narivetta from July 11 only on SonyLIV.”
  • Directed by Anuraj Manohar and written by Abin Joseph, the film stars Tovino Thomas with Suraj Venjaramoodu, Cheran and Arya Salim among the ensemble cast.
  • Inspired by the 2003 Muthanga Incident, the political drama follows a Kerala Police constable as he uncovers a state-sanctioned violence nexus against tribal communities.
  • After facing a piracy leak threatening its second week, Narivetta still recovered its ₹10 crore budget within eight days and went on to gross ₹29 crore globally.
