Overview

• They arrived at Rosario’s airport on August 11 after Paraguay completed their extradition following a January 2023 arrest in Asunción
• Interpol operatives and multiple Argentine security forces, including the Ministry of Security, Policía Federal Argentina, Gendarmería Nacional and PSA, escorted them to federal custody in Rosario’s Alcaidía facility
• They are required to appear before the Tribunal Oral Federal N°1 in Rosario on charges of possession with intent to distribute, storage and trafficking of narcotics
• Their return allows prosecutors to formally include them in the 2022 triple homicide case that left three wedding guests dead and remains under investigation
• Both are accused of participating in Olga “Tata” Medina’s drug-trafficking organization that has operated in Rosario’s La Cerámica neighborhood since at least April 2016
