- Arriving in Sydney on October 19, Andhra Pradesh IT and HRD Minister Nara Lokesh urged the Telugu diaspora at an APNRTS event to act as brand ambassadors to help rebuild the state.
- In his address, he cited ₹10 lakh crore in recent investment commitments and a goal to create 20 lakh jobs in five years as the government’s development targets.
- Lokesh met Australia‑India CEO Forum director Jodi McKay, seeking Andhra Pradesh’s inclusion in the forum’s State Engagement Agenda and backing for an Australia–AP CEO Round Table with the AP Economic Development Board, Business Council of Australia and CII.
