NAR President Tracy Kasper Resigns Amid Blackmail Threat

Kevin Sears Steps Up as New President Following Recent Leadership Turmoil at NAR

Tracy Kasper, the President of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), has resigned after receiving a blackmail threat related to a 'past personal non-financial matter'.
Kasper reported the threat to law enforcement and chose to step down rather than compromise her position at NAR.
Kasper's resignation is the latest in a series of executive changes at the NAR, following the resignation of her predecessor Kenny Parcell over sexual harassment allegations and the early retirement of former NAR CEO Bob Goldberg.
NAR was recently found liable for $1.8 billion in damages over a conspiracy to keep realtor commissions high, a verdict it is currently appealing.
Kevin Sears, the association's current president-elect, will replace Kasper as president.
