Overview

  • Inoue won by unanimous decision with scores of 117-111, 118-110 and 118-110, keeping the WBC, WBA, IBF and WBO belts and improving to 31-0.
  • The fight at IG Arena in Nagoya drew an announced crowd of about 17,000 spectators.
  • Akhmadaliev went the distance, becoming the first opponent since 2019 to last 12 rounds with Inoue.
