Nancy Pelosi Recovering After Hip Surgery Following Fall in Luxembourg

The 84-year-old former House Speaker underwent hip replacement surgery after falling on marble stairs during a congressional trip to Europe.

Nancy Pelosi, 84, fell on marble stairs while wearing high heels during a visit to a World War II battlefield site in Luxembourg last Friday.
The fall resulted in a broken hip, and Pelosi underwent successful hip replacement surgery at a U.S. military hospital in Germany on December 14.
Despite her injury, Pelosi posed for a group photo with the congressional delegation before being transported to the hospital.
House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul, who assisted Pelosi after her fall, described her as being in good spirits and eager to return home.
Pelosi has since returned to her San Francisco home and is reportedly recovering well, expressing gratitude for the medical care and support she received.
