Overview
- In 2024–25, the state procured 55.79 lakh tonnes of paddy worth ₹12,857 crore with money credited to about eight lakh farmers within 24 hours.
- Each farmer received ₹7,000 under the Annadata Sukhibhava scheme, with officials also citing targeted support for crops such as mango, tobacco, chilli, tomato and onion.
