Naidu to Inaugurate Net-Zero CRDA Headquarters in Amaravati on Oct. 13

The net-zero certified headquarters is positioned as a unified hub to accelerate and monitor Amaravati works.

Overview

  • IGBC has awarded the CRDA Project Office the Net Zero Energy (Design) certification, the first such recognition for a building in Amaravati.
  • The seven-storey, 28,562 sq. m facility will house Municipal Administration and Urban Development leadership alongside a centralized Command Control Centre.
  • The inauguration is scheduled for Monday at 9:54 a.m., with the complex located near Rayapudi at the Seed Access Road E3–N11 junction.
  • The building’s design targets annual energy self-sufficiency through a 540 kWp rooftop solar array supplemented by green power procurement.
  • Officials report 79 projects currently under execution worth ₹49,499.52 crore, with administrative sanctions cleared for 90 projects totaling ₹54,693.09 crore and additional works moving through tenders and approvals.
