Naidu Sets August Rollout for QR-Coded Passbooks and Land Regularisation Deadlines

Overview

  • Starting in August, the state will issue 21.86 lakh QR-coded pattadar passbooks as a first step toward modernising land records.
  • The chief minister ordered regularisation of no-objection government lands by December 2025 and tasked a ministerial panel with resolving freehold land issues by October 2025.
  • A comprehensive resurvey of all villages is slated for completion by December 2027, and 77.9 lakh legacy survey stones bearing the former CM’s image have been removed.
  • The housing-for-all initiative calls for plot allotments within two years and construction completion in four, backed by a 2,051-acre land bank and nearly 100,000 applicants.
  • Officials are developing a visual land-details portal and streamlining succession certificate issuance with capped fees to improve transparency and speed approvals.
