• Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said the TDP will support NDA nominee C. P. Radhakrishnan in the vice-presidential election.
• Naidu accused the INDIA bloc of "playing the Telugu card" after Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy urged parties in the two Telugu states to back B. Sudarshan Reddy.
• He met Radhakrishnan in New Delhi, congratulated him, and formally pledged his party’s support.
