Overview
- At the Amaravati Secretariat, the chief minister met 55 successful students from social welfare residential schools and presented Rs 1 lakh to each.
- Officials have been directed to set up seven additional Dr B R Ambedkar IIT-NEET centres this year to serve 1,411 SC/ST students statewide.
- Existing centres in Kurnool, NTR and Guntur trained 356 students this year, with 129 qualifying in JEE and 143 in NEET.
