Naidu Orders Amaravati Push With Sports City Study, PPP Marina Plan, 754 CRDA Posts

  • The 57th CRDA meeting cleared a Marina Waterfront on the Krishna riverfront to be developed via PPP on one acre, with tenders to cover jetties, tourism boats, food plazas, landscaping and water sports.

  • Naidu instructed ADCL and CRDA to adopt robust revenue models and pursue asset monetisation to become self-sustaining entities, and the authority ratified 754 posts across cadres.
  • The CRDA approved a ₹5,000 monthly pension for seven orphaned minors by relaxing the usual under-18 ineligibility rule for welfare pensions.
  • Alternative plots were approved for 112 returnable plots affected by road junctions, limited to parcels not mutated or sold, with directions to prevent inconvenience to farmers.
