Overview
- Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is chairing the two-day 4th District Collectors’ Conference at the Andhra Pradesh Secretariat with an eight-point agenda covering GSDP reviews, welfare, infrastructure, circular economy, human resources, IT initiatives, revenue, and law and order.
- Naidu presented recent state figures, citing GSDP of Rs 14.2 lakh crore in 2023–24 and Rs 15.9 lakh crore in 2024–25 at 12% growth, with per capita income at Rs 2.98 lakh.
- He outlined 2025–26 goals, including a GSDP target of Rs 18.6 lakh crore at 17% growth and per capita income of Rs 3.47 lakh, and said progress will be tracked down to the mandal level under the Swarna Andhra 2047 vision targeting sustained 15% growth.
- Following a recent reshuffle, he warned collectors against complacency, urged field engagement with citizens, and directed adoption of technology to improve delivery and accountability.
- The agenda includes a joint review of policing with Collectors and SPs, a final appraisal of public satisfaction with services, and briefings on IT tools such as Quantum Valley, RTIH/Ratan Tata hubs, WhatsApp-based services, a data lake, and AI integration.
