- On July 31, N. Chandrababu Naidu laid the foundation stone for a ₹77.91 crore Gandikota development funded by the Centre’s SASCI scheme
- He virtually inaugurated five additional projects worth ₹165 crore, including Borra Caves upgrades, a Buddhist Experience Centre and water sports at Nagarjunasagar, and Ahobilam Temple modernization
- Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation signed ₹500 crore in agreements with partners such as EaseMyTrip and Hilton Hotels to build hotels and adventure facilities
- The Gandikota plan encompasses ropeways, boating, a sound-and-light show, glass-bottom walkways, heli-rides and an eco-friendly tent city
- A 5-star Oberoi hotel near Gandikota and an 80-crore, 116-room Lemon Tree Premier in Tirupati are slated to boost accommodation capacity and create hundreds of jobs
