Naidu Launches Vision Action Plan Units in 26 Districts and 175 Constituencies

Overview

  • Vision Action Plan Unit offices have been established across 26 districts and 175 constituencies to formalize the Swarna Andhra 2047 framework at the grassroots level.
  • Each unit is chaired by the local MLA and run by a nine-member team with a Special Officer as executive vice-chairperson, supported by a ₹10 lakh annual budget.
  • The government aims to adopt 15 lakh “Golden Families” under its Zero Poverty-P4 programme by August 15 to target poverty eradication and will introduce mentoring incentives for officials.
  • The “Talli Ki Vandanam” scheme is slated for a June rollout, and a free bus travel scheme for women will begin on August 15 as part of broader social welfare measures.
  • In partnership with industry leaders, MSME parks will be set up in each assembly segment and Ratan Tata Hubs established in Amaravati to drive services-sector growth and employment generation.
