Overview
- The 40th Academic Council approved the interdisciplinary MA programme with an inaugural intake of 20 students.
- Applicants must hold a BA, BSc, BCom or BBA degree with at least 50% aggregate marks; SC, ST, OBC and PWD candidates receive mark relaxations and Nagaland University affiliates get an additional 10% weightage.
- The application window closes on July 20, and non-CUET candidates must take an entrance test scheduled for July 28.
- The curriculum integrates classroom theory with field-based learning in rural economy, governance, natural resource management, social dynamics and development scheme planning.
- Graduates are expected to fill roles in government, NGOs, academia and rural entrepreneurship to address socio-economic challenges in Nagaland and the wider North Eastern Region.
