- On 7 August NADA issued a formal sanctions proposal that alleges Ansah breached Article 2.3 by refusing or omitting a sample and recommends a four‑year ban reducible to three years if he accepts.
- The agency asks that all of Ansah's results from 9 July onward be annulled, a move that would strip recent national titles he won at the end of July.
- Ansah says a tester called at the edge of his declared availability window while he was rushing to the airport and that he could not provide a sample after recently using the toilet.
