My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, a prequel spinoff to the main series, will debut as an anime in April 2025, produced by Studio Bones.
The series follows Koichi Haimawari, an unlicensed vigilante hero, and offers a darker, grounded perspective on the My Hero Academia universe.
The adaptation will feature key staff from the main anime, including director Kenichi Suzuki and composer Yuki Hayashi, ensuring continuity in quality.
Fans will get to explore backstories of notable characters like Shota Aizawa and All Might, alongside new protagonists like The Crawler and Knuckleduster.
The announcement comes as the main My Hero Academia anime prepares to conclude with its eighth and final season in Fall 2025.
