Overview

• Studio Bones confirmed the anime’s eighth season as its last during Anime Japan 2025 and slated it for October 2025.
• The trailer released June 16 previews the final battles between Izuku Midoriya and Tomura Shigaraki and between Armored All Might and All For One.
• Season 8 will cover the manga’s Final War arc (chapters 399–424) and the subsequent Epilogue arc (chapters 425–431) across its episodes.
• Naomi Nakayama returns to direct the final season at Studio Bones with Yosuke Kuroda on scripts, Yuki Hayashi composing the score and the full Season 7 voice cast reprising their roles.
• Crunchyroll will simulcast new episodes with their Japanese debut and a special panel on July 5 at Anime Expo 2025 will feature voice actors Justin Briner, Daiki Yamashita and a message from creator Kohei Horikoshi.
