• The awards ceremony took place on September 18 at the Sky Bar El Milagrito in Morelia’s Hotel & Spa Mansión Solís, which also earned Best Luxury Hotel.
• The contest was decided by the public, with roughly 13,600 nominations and about 133,000 votes reported by organizers and state tourism officials.
• Cultural and heritage honors included K’uínchekua as Best Cultural Expression, Antiguo Colegio Jesuita in Pátzcuaro as Best Historic Venue Experience, the hammered copper fair in Santa Clara del Cobre as Best Contemporary Cultural Festival, and the Procesión del Señor del Amparo in Huandacareo as Best Religious Experience.
• Nature and gastronomy winners featured the turtle release at Playa Azul for Best Nature Contact, NexpaSurf for Best Beach Adventure, Oliver Infante as Best Author Chef, La Casa de Blanca in Tzintzuntzan for Best Traditional Restaurant, San Miguelito in Morelia for Best Contemporary Restaurant, and Concepción López Villegas as Best Traditional Cook.
• Other recognitions went to Magia Xplora Tours in Tlalpujahua for Best Guided Experience in a Pueblo Mágico, CECONEXPO and Erika Hiriart Pardo for MICE categories, Uriel LZC as Best Tourism Content Creator, Tatiana Ruano as Best Wedding Planner, and special awards including a posthumous honor for Carmelo Rivera plus distinctions for sustainable and inclusive tourism.
