• Agenda2030 Escolar has educated Debabarrena students about sustainable development for 20 years in collaboration with Debegesa and the Basque Government.
• In recent plenary meetings, student representatives from Mutriku and seven educational centers in Eibar presented their findings on responsible consumption to their respective councils.
• Proposals include awareness campaigns on seasonal produce and water use, enhanced recycling and waste management facilities, sustainable fashion workshops and support for local commerce.
• Municipal councils responded positively and committed to implement the student requests insofar as possible, marking a shift toward policy integration of youth-led ideas.
