Musk's Boring Company wins approval to dramatically expand underground Las Vegas transit system

The Boring Company received approval to expand its tunnel network in Las Vegas by 25 miles and 18 new stations.
The expansion will extend the tunnel system from the Las Vegas Strip to nearby casinos, retail areas, UNLV's campus and residential neighborhoods.
The Boring Company will fund the entire project, not taxpayers.
A sample trip between the airport and convention center could take 5 minutes and cost $10.
The project has already surpassed 1 million total passengers in its first 2.2 miles of tunnels and 5 stations.
