Overnight Drone Wave Hits Southern Russia as Moscow Reports Strikes Across Ukraine

  • Krasnodar authorities said a Tuapse port attack damaged two foreign civilian vessels without crew injuries and ignited fires now extinguished, as air defenses reported 32 drones downed over the region, 39 over the Black Sea and three over the Azov Sea.
  • In Rostov region, two people were injured and homes and a car were damaged in Miasnikovsky District, while Belgorod officials reported three civilian injuries, including two 15-year-olds, in separate FPV drone incidents.

  • Russia’s military and affiliated sources claimed strikes on Ukrainian targets in Sumy, Chernihiv, Odesa and Zaporizhzhia, citing a destroyed armored vehicle and supply depot near Kostyantynivka as well as hits on air defenses, radars and logistics nodes.
  • The Defense Ministry released footage of Ukrainian soldiers surrendering near Kupiansk, and Russia’s FSB in Donetsk region said the Kupol Donbassa electronic-warfare system thwarted 366 drone attacks over the week across Donetsk, Makiivka and Horlivka.
