Overview

- Officers located 36-year-old Manuel Arturo Alvarez of Modesto hiding in a ravine near Wild Flower Drive and took him into custody after deploying a K-9.
- Alvarez was treated for injuries from the apprehension and booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center on suspicion of murder and attempted murder, where he remains in custody.
