- President Droupadi Murmu inaugurated the nine-day Bharatiya Kala Mahotsav at Rashtrapati Nilayam in Secunderabad, themed on western India with free public entry from November 22 to 30.
- She visited state pavilions, interacted with artisans and weavers, and said the festival deepens cultural understanding and strengthens national unity.
- Earlier, she offered prayers at Tiruchanur and Tirumala, received traditional TTD honours, and briefly stepped out to greet pilgrims and hand out chocolates in a rare public gesture.
- On Nov. 20 in Ambikapur, she led Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas events featuring the launch of the Chief Minister’s Tribal Village Akhra Vikas Yojana to develop traditional community spaces.
- In her address, she said many have left Left-Wing Extremism for the path of development through coordinated central–state efforts, while honoring tribal leaders and urging protection of ‘Jan, Jungle aur Jameen’; her next stop is Puttaparthi on Nov. 22.
