Murder Investigation Launched After Body of Missing Man Found in East Sussex

A 59-year-old suspect has been arrested following the discovery of Wayne Woodgate's body, last seen entering a van in Kent.

Wayne Woodgate, 54, was reported missing on October 17 from Tunbridge Wells, Kent.
His body was discovered in a wooded area in Peasmarsh, East Sussex, on October 23.
Police have arrested a 59-year-old man on suspicion of murder in connection with the case.
Forensic teams are actively investigating the scene where the body was found.
Detectives are seeking dash-cam footage from drivers on the A268 between Peasmarsh and Four Oaks to aid the investigation.
