Murder Charge in Canaryville Killing as Chicago Probes Labor Day Weekend Drive-By Attacks

Detectives are seeking suspects in the Bronzeville and Humboldt Park shootings after police counted at least 32 people shot citywide.

  • Four people were shot about 1:11 a.m. Sunday in a drive-by on the 2700 block of West Haddon Avenue in Humboldt Park, and all were reported in good condition.
  • Police reported at least 32 people shot and three killed over the Labor Day weekend, and no arrests were announced in the two drive-by investigations.
