• The musical biography, titled “Mera Desh Pahle — The Untold Story of Narendra Modi,” opened Thursday at KD Jadhav Hall in the Indira Gandhi Stadium, New Delhi.
• Lyricist and screenwriter Manoj Muntashir wrote the show and performed the central role, portraying Modi’s childhood, travels and political rise through songs and narration.
• BJP national president J P Nadda, Delhi chief minister Rekha Gupta, culture minister Kapil Mishra, Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva and Mayor Raja Iqbal Singh attended alongside Olympians, Padma awardees and judicial dignitaries.
• Performances featured singers B Praak, Sneha Shankar, Rishi Singh, Ashish Kulkarni and Ujwal Gajbhar, with Nadda praising Modi as a global statesman.
• Organisers said the event had support from the Delhi government’s Department of Art, Culture and Languages and announced plans to take the show to Mumbai, Patna, Varanasi, Hyderabad and Kolkata.
